AUGH!!!!!!! Please tell me you were joking when you said Fall Out Boy. They have one song I like and that's "Thriller". Anyway, you've probably heard Linkin Park... try The White Stripes, Incubus, Jet, The Killers, Matchbox Twenty, Breaking Benjamin, Modest Mouse, Nine Inch Nails, The Raconteurs and Relient K.

all american rejects, green day, red hot chillie peppers, korn, third eye blind
This is all coming from my personal music library...

Sublime!!!!! - Oh my GOD! Awesome surf-punk poetry.

Nirvana - the creators of grunge and the biggest influence on music in my generation

Stone Temple Pilots - pretty awesome grunge, but they're definately no Nirvana

Agent Orange - 80s punk

silverchair - post-grunge alternative(Frogstomp and Freak Show were good, there last two albums were way too mellow)

Bush - more post-grunge alternative(again, the first two albums- Sixteen Stone and Razorblade Suitcase- were good, but the newer ones sucked)

Black Flag - 80s punk

Minor Threat - 80s straightedge punk

Blind Melon - grunge. These guys could have been great if their leadman didn't die.

I like "Seventy times Seven" by Brand New - it's totally not the kind of music I like, but the bridge is BRUTAL.

Cold War Kids - modern alternative. Good lyrics.

Lit - late-90s alternative. I loved these guys in high school.

The Descendents - the creators of pop-punk, but they're very un-pop. Great, fun songs about girls, fishing, and coffee

Operation Ivy - 80s ska-punk, from the founders of Rancid

Rancid - awesome post-punk punk. I recommend thier albums Rancid (2000), ...and out come the wolves, and Life Won't Wait

Primus - badass post-grunge.

Presidents of the United States of America - I guess you could call them fun, and kinda grungy. I'm sure you've heard "Lump" and "Peaches"

...but Sublime is the friggin Ultimate. Check out "Same in the End," "Secret Tweeker Pad," "Scarlet Begonias" (a Grateful Dead cover). They're my favorites.
COBRA STARSHIP!!!!! These guys are freaking awesome! Panic! At The Disco

Blink-182

+44

AFI

Plain White T's

My Chemical Romance

30 Seconds To Mars
brittany spears lol
